Tomato flower

Another flower I have managed to photograph in the garden is from our tomato plant. I did not want to pick a flower to photograph, as that would mean one less tomato to pick later on. Being yellow in colour, I was interested to see what that flower would look like in UV and the other light spectra.

It would seem that despite what it looks like in visible light spectra, the tomato flower still looks very similar to the chilli plant flower in UV – which makes sense, as they belong in the same family.
