There are many different free game apps available to download for smartphones and tablets which can help keep one occupied and help pass the time. One such app is Tap Titans, which I’ve started playing recently. There are multiple facets to the game which can keep one interested and different ways to help you get further in the game.
There is plenty of information about this app online. So instead of rehashing all that information, I thought I would post about why I find this app particularly interesting – bearing in mind this app may not appeal to everyone.
Aim of game:
Build a team, make them stronger and fight the titans. Get as far as you can through the stages.
Other facets to the game:
1) After stage 80, you start to earn relics which can be exchanged for artifacts which boost characteristics of the heroes or the game to make play easier the next time round.
2) When things slow down, you can Prestige which brings you back to stage 0 but with the diamonds, relics and artifacts you’ve earned. Hence this should allow for you to progress faster and further with each subsequent round. In essence, this makes the game virtually never ending, as you can always start again
3) There is a tournament every Wednesday and Saturday where 200 people can compete to see how far they can get to in the game in 24 hours. Up for grabs are prizes (diamonds, weapons upgrade and tournament points).
Having read online that it is virtually impossible to get the top few spots in the tournaments, I was initially reluctant to join a tournament without having played the game a while. So more than week after playing this game, I decided to join a tournament. So imagine my surprise to finish number one in that tournament – I must have been very fortunate to go against 199 less experienced people.
So this is definitely a game I am enjoying and can look forward to for a very long while.
