As the sun was particularly bright and high in the sky, I decided to do some imaging of the sunspots currently making its way across the surface of the sun over the coming days.
For the sunspots, I used my Olympus E-P5, Televue Powermate 5x, Baader Herschel Prism with double-stacked Baader Solar continuum, Skywatcher ED80 mounted on the Astrotrac TT320X.
First is the best single image from the 200 over photos I took. These are 100% crops of the sunspots.
Next is the emerging sunspot AR2324 which should become more visible over the coming days.
Now that I have learnt how to use PIPP to make the AVI file for Registax 6 to process the solar images, it should be easier for me to capture even more detail of sunspots.
