Snow in Oxford

With the cold snap coming to England, there was warning that there would be snow fall expected on Sunday. Hence on Sunday morning, we woke up unsurprisingly to our neighbourhood completely covered in snow. And the snow just kept on falling. In the morning, I took the opportunity to take my daughter sledging in our village park, and in the afternoon after lunch to build our first snow man in many years in our back garden.

In this post, I am sharing some of the photos which were taken of all that snow.

After lunch, my daughters and I went to work making our snow man, with each responsible for making one of the three segments of the snow man. We even managed to shape it to make each segment a little rounder. In fact we are pretty pleased with the end product, as it probably is the best looking one we’ve made – ever. We have even given him a name – Albert (not Frosty).

We have definitely enjoyed the snow fall – but not sure if Albert our snow man will still be around for Christmas, though. At least for the moment, we have the dreams of a White Christmas.
