Regis Stone Scratch-resistant 28cm Non-stick Frypan

While looking for a non-stick fry pan, I came across the Regis Stone scratch-resistant non-stick frypan. I was very impressed with the construction at a reasonable price, and the fact it does not require oil for frying as it has a very nice looking non-stick surface. My wife started using this recently when my daughters started a new year of school, as she wants to give our daughters a good start with a hearty breakfast before they go to school. It is now her favourite frypan.

This fry pan looks good and the coating looks very different from that of other frypans – it should last if you look after it properly. The food you cook does not stick to it, and it is great that eggs or omelettes can be fried without using oil. That would be the healthier way to eat. I have used this frypan to fry my duck breast fillets, as it is big enough for 4 large fillets and allows even cooking.

On Saturday, my wife decided to fry up some sausages, eggs and mushrooms for our breakfast. Here are the pics of our breakfast.

The food was delicious and well cooked (and not burnt despite not using oil). To go with the food and to add to our five-a-day of fruits and vegetables, I made smoothies for each of us – containing spinach, cucumber slices, mint, basil, strawberries, cherries, raspberries, blueberries, mango slices blended in apple juice.

Verdict:

The Regis Stone 28cm frypan is very good value at under £30, and looks like it will last. It does allow frying without oil, which makes the food healthier. My wife approves of it and so do I.
