I thought I would have a thread to put photos of particular note this Christmas, as there are quite a few meaningful photos which I have managed to take over the last few days.
It began with the opening of Christmas presents after I came home from work in the morning. Rosie did join in with this process, as she is definitely part of our family.
Below were pictures of cupcakes which were home made by a church friend for all the children on Christmas day. They looked so lovely that I could not resist taking pictures of them using my iPhone and the Nova Bluetooth flash.
What would you get a person who loves photography? A lens mug? That is exactly what a good friend did. He bought me this lovely mug for Christmas. Needless to say I love it.
We do like to dress the table up for our Christmas dinner, which we had on Boxing day this year. Christmas candles and clementines do look rather nice together (my wife’s great idea).
We also have a lit Christmas candle on our fireplace mantel, to symbolise the true light during Christmas – it is a lovely candle (again credit to my wife).
My daughters do love some fun. What more fun than having fruit juice in little test-tubes – like they are drinking something from a science experiment (this was my idea). My youngest daughter derived the most excitement from this process.
And Rosie was patiently waiting for her Christmas dinner which comprised of turkey liver with extra trimmings. After all, she did say please.
