Orange carnation

As the orange carnations have started to bloom, I thought I would capture this in the various different lighting in my indoor studio. Certainly looking at this flower, it has a very interesting pattern and I am not quite sure what it would look like with the various filters I use.

This is a flower which is a fine example of being very UV-dark, but looks very interesting when there is blue and green mixed in with it. Just as well that insects don’t just see in UV, as otherwise many of these flowers would look rather boring.
