Local Malaysian Food

As part of this holiday, I hope to document the food that we have eaten and places we have visited. I have given my Sony A7R the task of capturing the images for this trip. This thread is about the dinner we had the other night.

Chicken satay sticks. These are normally dipped into the peanut sauce which comes with this dish. My youngest daughter loved this dish, and in fact managed to consume 9 sticks of this, and a few slices of cucumber.

Fried tofu in its special sauce.

Fried bee hoon – one of my youngest daughter’s favourite, which she would have eaten if she had not filled her tummy up with the satay.

One of my favourite dishes is the Hor fun (or flat rice noodles), and definitely one I would recommend to those who have never eaten it.

Suffice it to say that there will many more food photos during this trip.
