Geranium Pratense

One of my favourite flowers is the Geranium pratense, a lovely purple flower which looks great, particularly in UV-induced visible fluorescence (UVIVF). Hence I had to bring one back to photograph with my indoor studio. I have to say that I am well pleased with the images I managed to capture. There are even some great macro shots.

I am sure you will agree that the UVIVF images are really impressive. Look at the red in there, which is exactly how it looks to me when it is fluorescing.
