I noticed a few days ago that there were flowers already blooming in the garden, which was adding some needed colour. Although the daffodil bulbs have sprouted leaves, as yet there are no flowers blooming yet – that is to come in the next few weeks. But the flowers that are growing in the garden include primroses and crocuses. Here are the photos of these as they grow in my garden. When I have the time, I will start shooting them in the various light spectrum to add into my flower gallery. Images were taken with my iPhone 6 plus with my DIY Pentax 50mm F2.8 macro lens or Moment 2x telephoto lens.
Although not a flower, I thought I would show the spring onion my wife planted in our garden over a year ago. It looks to be growing fairly well.
These flowers bloom every year at this time in my garden, but I have never really taken the time to appreciate them. It is only when I really look around me (partly to find material for my blog), that I realise that there are so many things that I take for granted or ignore, simply because I have been too preoccupied. I would suggest people take a look around them, as they may be missing amazing things happening around them.
