Dog gone mad (or cat)?

Even in the tiny village that we live in, there are things happening which are just so out of the ordinary. Just the other day I happened to look out the window while having my morning cup of coffee. And I saw the strangest and also rather alarming thing. Initially I thought to myself – that is too big to be a bird. Could it be an escaped monkey or other such animal?

So what is so special about this dog that got my family excited and at the same time extremely worried?

It was because this dog was on the woof, I mean roof of a neighbour’s house. At times it looked like it did not know how to get back dow, while at other times it looked to be just wandering along the top of the roof.

The photo below is more revealing.

It did behave at times as if it had done this so many times, as if it was going out for a morning stroll.

We did think of calling over to the neighbour’s to let them know of the dog on their roof. But then it made its way down the less steep part of the roof – which is probably the way it had made it up to the roof-top.

Here it looked so much like a cat, perching on a wall and looking into another neighbour’s garden.

And finally it made its way back down to the ground. Disaster averted. Phew!

But that just goes to show that things may be happening around that you do not know about, unless you happen to look outside.
