Decopatch/Decomache

During the Christmas school holidays, we brought our daughters to Hobby Craft to buy some craft items to decorate and make, to help pass their time. My oldest daughter decided to buy Decopatch/Decomache to decorate the cardboard figures she bought.

The items required were Decopatch or Decomache paper for decorating, Decopatch blue and brush applicator, and the cardboard figures to decorate.

To decorate the figures, strips of the Decopatch paper need to be glued to the cardboard figure. Different paper designs can be mixed in each figure to give it a unique look. I do like the three figures my daughter has decorated – certainly did not inherit the arts and craft genes from me.

For the last image, I thought I would illuminate the house in a different light (I used a flash to light the interior of the house as well as another flash from the right front) – sorry but I couldn’t resist using off-camera flash (that’s the Strobist in me).
