Pokemon Collection in Poke Bank

Previously I had posted about the Poke Bank where most of our Pokemon are stored. They are kept in boxes according to their position on the Pokedex. But I have also collected the variants of the Pokemon, the extra Legendary Pokemon and the Shiny Pokemon in their own boxes as well. Here I am posting the Pokemon we have collected thus far – to be updated as the Legendary Event Pokemon are added to the collection. Continue reading Pokemon Collection in Poke Bank

Pokemon – Vivillon variants

So far in the Pokedex, there are 802 different Pokemon (although 1 is still yet to be made available – Marshadow which is no. 802 on the Pokedex). But there are some Pokemon which have different appearances depending on its gender, or actual different variants. One of the more interesting Pokemon with 20 different variants to collect, is Vivillon which is a butterfly-like Pokemon. Continue reading Pokemon – Vivillon variants

Pokemon Bank

I am sure there are many people who like to collect things, be it music, books, games, camera lenses. I am one such person, as I have collected many DVDs/Blu-rays, books, camera lenses in my time. Now the world of Pokemon is about completing certain missions, but also about finding and collecting different Pokemon during the journey. Hence about over 3 weeks ago, I had finally took the plunge and subscribed to the Pokemon Bank. This would allow my daughters and I to store the Pokemon that we have caught while playing the various Pokemon games – Diamond, Black, X, Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby (which I had bought for my daughter so she had something to look forward to after she completes all her GCSE exams) and Moon. Pokemon Pokerus in Moon – how to give them to your Pokemon

Now recently with the trading of Pokemon on the GTS, I found that there was a Solgaleo which I had helped my daughter trade for which had Pokerus. I was told when visiting the Pokemon Center to heal up the Pokemon that one of them had the Pokerus virus. Now the Solgaleo had a smiley face, which means that it has the Pokerus virus but was unable to pass this on to other Pokemon. But that meant I had to keep an eye on the other Pokemon I received from trades, in case one of them had live Pokerus which I could pass on to other Pokemon. I did not have to wait long as an Azelf which was traded had it, and so I set about passing this on to the other Pokemon. Continue reading Pokemon Pokerus in Moon – how to give them to your Pokemon

Pokemon Moon GTS

For Christmas last year, my youngest daughter asked for a Nintendo 2DS with the Pokemon Moon game. She only started playing this early this year, and at times has needed my help. But she has finally completed the main game, becoming the Alola Champion and opened up the extra side quests in the game. Recently I had also discovered the GTS Pokemon trading system, and have managed to help her complete her Alola Pokedex. Hence I thought I would share my thoughts on this, as well as share her completed Pokedex containing one of each Pokemon (including the #301 – Magearna). Hopefully the yet to be released trading system for Pokemon Go will be just as good. Continue reading Pokemon Moon GTS

Pokemon Go Update (new features)

Over the last few weeks, since the introduction of the Generation 2 Pokemon, things have got a little stale and boring. After the first 7 day Streak of collecting from the Pokestop gave me a King’s rock, I have not managed to get any further special items in the last 3 weeks, even from the 7-day streaks. Hence it was interesting to see the release of an update to Pokemon Go today which would change all that. Continue reading Pokemon Go Update (new features)

Pokemon Go: Special Items + Gen. 2 progress

Now when the generation 2 Pokemon came out and there was the release of the Special Items, I had noted that I received the King’s Rock which evolves Poliwhirl to Politoed and Slowpoke to Slowking. Naturally I thought that this may be a phenomenon which would be repeated, and hence I waited until the second week to see if I manage to get another special item.
