Rachel’s Cafe in Oxford

Recently we were made aware of a quaint little cafe along St Clement’s Street in Oxford, called Rachel’s Cafe, as one of our neighbours bought us some moon cakes from there around the Mid-Autumn festival. Hence we decided that we would go visit there to get lunch and more moon cakes late last Saturday morning. Continue reading Rachel’s Cafe in Oxford

Wheatgrass and Acai berry Pellets

Recently when I went on my weekly grocery shopping, I went to the freezer section to buy my usual frozen blueberries and strawberries for my fruit-protein smoothie. While there, I noted that there were plenty of other fruits and vegetables available to purchase – clearly healthy eating and smoothies is big business, which is why there are so many options available. I noted that there were wheatgrass and acai berry pellets for making smoothies, and hence I bought these as well. So to see him now a fully grown adult and graduating from the University of Warwick was emotional. To celebrate this, we went to the Cote Brasserie in Leamington Spa for dinner. Continue reading Cote Brasserie – Leamington Spa

Wedding Anniversary – Loch Fyne Lunch

Another event we celebrate in June is our wedding anniversary. This year, we decided to go to Loch Fyne Seafood restaurant in Oxford (actually it was my idea). As my daughter had finished her exams, she also came along to celebrate with us – being the fruit of our marriage. And we had a wonderful time together, as it was nice and cool in the restaurant, unlike outside where it was 31 degrees Celsius and so very hot. Continue reading Wedding Anniversary – Loch Fyne Lunch
