Bonfire night

It was fairly cold on Bonfire night. The fireworks were visible in the distance. I decided to go to the top floor of my house to try and shoot the fireworks. I used the Sony A6000, FE 70-200mm F4 OSS lens and my Giottos tripod.

I used Manual mode, 8 to 15 secs exposure at f8-11 ISO 100 to try and capture as much firework activity as possible. Here are just some of the images I managed to get.DSC04171

DSC04205Considering this is my first attempt at shooting fireworks, particularly when they were going off far away, I thought it went pretty well. I am quite pleased with the results. Hopefully I will get better at it with further practice.
