Recently I was looking on the deals on Amazon, as I was looking to get a seat I could use on my bed to provide better back support when I use the computer or watch television. Then I saw the Bon Vivo chair came up on offer at under £40, and decided to take the plunge.
This chair came in a very long but flat cardboard box – it took about 3-4 days for it to arrive.
It comes in three different colours – green, orange and grey. I bought the green version, which is by far the nicest colour they offer. It is said to be rated to support up to 100kg. The mesh fabric is said to be easy to clean. There is some padding on this chair, although I would have hoped for a little more to make it even more comfortable.
This chair can be adjusted both for the back rest and the foot rest. The backrest can be adjusted to 5 different positions – this is simply done by folding the backrest up by as many clicks as is needed to get to the desired position. To reset the position, simply fold it in until it is fully closed – this resets the locking mechanism so that the backrest can be completely laid flat once more. There is also the same mechanism for the foot rest which only adjusts to 3 different positions.
To store the chair or to bring it about similar to carrying a backpack with the shoulder straps, it is simply folded inwards and the elastic strap secures it in position.
This chair is rather versatile, as it can be taken outdoors or be used indoors on a bed, as a gaming chair, reading chair etc. Weighing 3kg and when folded measures 39cm x 67cm x 13cm, so it not overly bulky – it should be fairly easy to bring it to a park or to the beach, to provide comfortable seating or lying down.
This chair does feel comfortable and does support my back much better than just using pillows – it is a good chair. Now if only it had a little bit more padding, then it would be a great chair.
