Bidens meets stackshot

What would a year of photographing flowers be without Bidens. This is one of my favourite flowers, as it looks very nice to me in many of the different filters I use. For example, the IDS1 image reminds me of the watermelon skin, whereas the IDS2e gives that typical greenish center.

This flower had blossomed quite a few days old, and hence can be seen some dirt brought down by the rain we have been having over the last few days.

This is one of my favorite flowers for very good reasons – it just models very well in all the light spectra that I image in.
