My daughter does love to watch videos on her iPad 2 & play games. Hence for Christmas, I bought her the Bestek iPad flexible arm (BTIH130) to mount onto her bed, so she does not need to hold the iPad while using it.

It comes with a flexible arm which is fairly strong and capable of holding the iPad 2/3/4 in place without it sagging down under the weight. It has a 2-way clamp mount to allow for more flexibility when using it. There are also clips to hold the charging cable along the length of the flexible arm. This allows for charging of the iPad while using it.

The kit came with two other holders which will work with the iPad mini and the newest iPad Air/Air 2.

How to mount the iPad into the holder?
The iPad is placed in the holder by sliding it into the end with the two end grips and then the top end is pushed into the holder until the clip grips the iPad. Just ensure that the charging end (bottom) of the iPad is towards the end with the two grips.

Impressions:
Having bought a few other iPad holders before, including a carbon fibre mount from Apple (which was very expensive and not very stable), this iPad holder is definitely one of the better ones to buy out there. It is stable, well made and allows for plenty of adjustment to get the iPad at the right angle.
But just be aware that it may not be suitable for everyone. Tthe length of the flexible arm is only about 53cm long, so will not work with bed frames unless you can mount above the level of the mattress; alternatively, it could be mounted to a table or shelf. At £19.99 from Amazon, it is a very good value indeed. Highly recommended.
