Anniversary picnic

On Saturday, we celebrated our wedding anniversary with a lovely picnic. Although the weather was not cooperating, we still managed to have a lovely meal together. Below are photos of the food we had.

As my wife had indicated that she liked the food I had bought previously for our picnics at Stowe Garden, I decided to buy the food that she likes. This includes an Italian meat platter with proscuitto and salami. Other meat included honey roast ham, cocktail sausages (my youngest daughter’s favourite), cooked king prawn, chicken tikka pieces, chicken poppers and mini burgers.

Fruits wise, we had cherries, strawberries and grapes. As my wife likes olives, I also bought Olives with feta cheese. There were some crisps in the meal – Doritos and Wotsits. We also had some cashew nuts. Dessert was a nice box of Belgian Chocolate Eclairs. My wife bought a few bottles of smoothee for the girls, while we shared a nice bottle of champagne.

We all enjoyed the meal immensely, and there is enough leftover for tomorrow’s lunch as well. I think we will need to have a little break before we have our dinner, as we are all very full from the lunch.
