It seems that things have moved on in the last few years with more and more food which can be kept for long periods of time. I was shopping in Tesco last year, and came across the Tesco Thai Chicken Red Curry next to their pot noodles section. They also do a Thai Chicken Green Curry, each costing £2.00. Stayfocused App for iPhone

I read that there was a free focus stacking app available for the iPhone recently. I decided to download it to try. Essentially it is an app which will allow you to capture multiple shots of the same subject but with focus being adjusted by the app to cover the depth of field you would like to be in focus. Clearly this app requires the iPhone to be tripod mounted to maintain stability while it shoots the various frames for stacking. Continue reading Stayfocused App for iPhone

Pentax 110 50mm F2.8 lens as macro lens for iPhone

As I was not totally satisfied with the image quality of the magnetic clip-on macro lens I have for my iPhone, I decided to explore the potential of stacking my smaller camera or enlarger lenses onto the iPhone for macro photography.
